Bitter Orange Peel in Syrup

Rolls of bitter orange peel steeped in a tangerine syrup.

These can be served straight from the jar either whole or cut into gorgeous swirls. They are delicious with chocolate desserts and the cut swirls make divine looking, and tasty decoration for cakes and tarts. Chopped up they are a great addition to fruit cakes, pastries, icecream.
Very versatile and handy to have in the store cupboard.
Ingredients: Bitter orange peels, sugar, tangerine, fresh lemon juice.
